Mumbai: The board of directors of UTI Bank yesterday gave a clean chit to Dr P.J. Nayak, Chairman and Managing Director, and asked him to resume charge immediately.

BPL soft energy COO quits
Mumbai: BPL Group has lost another business unit head. The Chief Operating Officer of the soft energy business, George Thomas, has put in his papers. This is the second major exit from the group in recent months.

Nanda Kumar Unni is Bharat Shell MD
Mumbai: Nanda Kumar Unni has been appointed as the Managing Director of Bharat Shell Ltd, a joint venture between Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd and Shell Overseas Investments B V. Unni replaces S. Radhakrishnan.
