Sharma takes over at LIC
New Delhi: N.C. Sharma, Managing Director, LIC, has taken over as Current-in-Charge of the corporation from Thursday. Mr Sharma took over the reins of the institution after Mr A. Ramamurthy retired on July 31, a company release said.

Shahaney joins IndusInd Bank
Mumbai: R.J. Shahaney, currently the Chairman of Ashok Leyland Ltd, has been appointed as the non-executive Chairman of IndusInd Bank. The decision was taken at the board of directors' meeting held on July 29, 2002.
