National purchase index planned 
New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Material Management plans to introduce a national purchase index on the lines of such indices existing in the US and other advanced nations.

Economy growth seen slowing in 2002-03

Air-India posts Rs 15 crore profit 
Mumbai: Air-India announced on Thursday a net profit of Rs 15.44 crore for the year ended March 31, 02. The national flag carrier also announced the decision to dry-lease two additional aircraft, one Boeing B747-400 and an Airbus A-310.
