Dhaka decision on natural gas to India soon 
Dhaka: Bangladesh will soon take a decision on the issue on export of natural gas to India. The decision will be based on the recommendations of the committee appointed by the Bangladesh government to look in to the issues relating to utilisation of natural gas.

CMIE cuts '02-03 GDP growth forecast to 3.1%
Mumbai: Independent forecaster Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE) said on Tuesday it has lowered its growth target of India's gross domestic product (GDP) to 3.1 per cent in 2002-03 (April-March) from its earlier estimate of 4.5 per cent.

Govt to move SC today for transfer of all petitions 
New Delhi: The government will move the Supreme Court on Wednesday for transfer of all petitions challenging the Prime Ministers order cancelling over 3,700 petrol, LPG and kerosene dealerships, either to the apex court itself or to the Delhi High Court.

Vegoil imports dip as prices shoot up 
New Delhi: Climbing global vegoil prices has led to a drop of 25 per cent in the domestic imports in July. According to the recent data released by the Solvent Extractors Association, the total Vegoil imports for July stood at 3,94,613 tonne as against 5,22,989 tonne imported in July 2001.
