Kelkar heads
taskforce on indirect tax
New Delhi: The
government has set up a taskforce, headed by Mr Vijay Kelkar,
advisor to the finance minister, to suggest measures for
simplifying the procedures and bringing transparency in the
indirect tax administration.

Pattabhiraman, Deputy General Manager has been elevated as General
Manager of SBH. Pattabhiraman joined State Bank of Hyderabad in
1961 and held senior assignments as Deputy General Manager

Bangalore: The
Sir M.V. Memorial Award, instituted by the Federation of Karnataka
Chambers of Commerce and Industry, for the year 2002 will be
conferred on Ms Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, Chairman and Managing
