Bata MD Garcia quits, Davies takes charge
Kolkata: Yet another Bata India chief executive officer makes an exit. Fernando Garcia, managing director, has resigned and the company board has accepted his papers. Stephen John Davies has been appointed the new managing director.

Magor takes charge of George Williamson
Mumbai: Philip Magor has officially taken charge of the George Williamson (Assam) Ltd by appointing himself non-executive chairman of the company. Magor will replace S.K. Mitra, who functioned till now as Chairman and Managing Director.
