EU team to take up textile row with Lamy 
New Delhi: A delegation from the European Parliament, on a two-day official visit to India, has given assurance that it would take up the issue of extending concessions similar to the ones provided to textile exporters from Pakistan, with the European Union trade commissioner Pascal Lamy.

IAF plans special unit to guard air bases 
New Delhi: The Indian Air Force (IAF) will soon set up its own specialised unit, the Tiger Force Commandoes, to guard air bases which are vulnerable to terrorist attacks as was exposed by the raid on the Awantipur Air Base in Jammu & Kashmir earlier this year.

15 killed in mid-air collision 
Panaji: Two Russian maritime reconnaissance aircraft of the Indian Navy IL-38 collided mid-Air during an Air show in Goa killing 15 people 12 crew on board and 3 on the ground hit by debris near Dabolim Aaval Airbase, in the worst-ever accident involving forces planes.
