Antony settles for minor power tariff hike
Thiruvanthapuram: As against the Rs 74-crore power tariff hike announced and rolled back five weeks ago, the hike announced on Wednesday by the AK Antony government would fetch only Rs 35 crore a month to the Kerala State Electricity Board, state power minister Kadavoor Sivadasan claimed.

Dumping duty on Chinese caustic soda
New Delhi: The designated authority set up in the commerce ministry to probe dumping cases has recommended imposition of anti-dumping duty at $362.34 a tonne on caustic soda originating in China and at $353.4 a tonne on the product imported from Korea.
