strengthening trend may continue
Mumbai: The strengthening trend continues for the
rupee as it hit another new closing low for the financial
year. Going forward, there seem to be very little triggers
that may cause a change in this trend.

Mumbai: The share price of Larsen & Toubro
is likely to receive a lukewarm response on the bourses
on Monday, subsequent to the open offer made by Grasim
Industries for 20 per cent of Larsen & Toubro shares
at Rs 190, dealers said.

FIs
may not participate in L&T open offer
New Delhi: The two major financial institutions,
Life Insurance Corporation and General Insurance Corporation,
holding around 27 per cent, has given an outright thumbs
down to participate in the AV Birla-controlled Grasim
Industrys 20-per cent offer of Larsen & Tubro
at Rs 190.
