Petrol, diesel prices hiked
New Delhi: National oil marketing companies -Indian Oil Corporation, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation and Bharat Petroleum Corporation- have hiked the petrol price by 33 to 53 paise and diesel by 32 to 57 paise per litre.

New exports take trade surplus with Malaysia to Rs 188-cr
New Delhi: India has recorded Rs 188-crore trade surplus with Malaysia during ’01-02, after suffering a deficit during the preceding three years. This is largely due to export of newer items which include inorganic chemicals, man-made filament and spun yarn, according to a Federation of Indian Export Organisations’ background paper.
