Mumbai: Akma Shamsuddin, chief operating officer of United Breweries’ regional profit centre, has resigned from the post. A UB spokesman on Friday confirmed Shamsuddin's resignation.

Core MD steps aside for new management
Ahmedabad: In what could pave the way for financial institutions and banks to appoint professional managers in their bid to put the ailing Ahmedabad-based pharma company, Core Healthcare, on the block, Shushilkumar Handa has relinquished his post as the company MD. Handa will, however, continue as the chairman of the company.

Jaswant to meet Jalan today
