Beijing: China is exporting deflation and Beijing needs to be ready to deal with a backlash from countries coping with the flood of cheap goods even though China is not to blame for the phenomenon, a top US economist said on Tuesday.

Adverse climate change to affect economy
New York: In what should act as a wake-up call to the financial sector in India, the United Nations Environment Programme on Tuesday said extreme adverse effects of climate change have the potential to destabilise the world economy and losses may cross $70 billion for 2002 alone.
