New Delhi: The Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy
has raised its forecast for the industrial sector growth
in the current fiscal to four per cent from its earlier
projection of three per cent.

urge CVC to probe GM crop scenario
New Delhi: Even as the Genetic Engineering Approval
Committee has called for an open debate on the issue of
the pending approval of genetically modified mustard seeds,
three farmers organisations and four NGOs have appealed
to the Central Vigilance Commission to investigate into
the alleged irregularities being committed in approving
GM crops.

ties up with Croatian institute for Measles vaccine
Hyderabad: Indian Immunologicals Ltd has tied up
with the Croatia-based Institute of Immunology for technical
support in setting up a plant in Hyderabad for production
of vaccines for treatment of measles, mumps and rubella.
This plant is expected by 2003 end.
