New delhi: The Planning Commission has made a case
for giving more freedom to the states to amend labour
laws, doing away with routine and periodic inspections
of information technology establishments, and restricting
visits of labour inspectors to small scale industries.

rises to 3.14 per cent
Mumbai: Inflation continued to rise for the third
consecutive session by another 0.12 per cent to 3.14 per
cent for the week ended November 2 mainly due to costlier
primary items owing to steep increase in the price of
