Mumbai: The PGCIL has embarked upon a massive diversification
plan with a focus on picking up 26 per cent stakes in
distribution companies, undertaking contracts to strengthen
sub transmission systems, rennovation and modernisation
of transmission networks and operation and maintenance
works in various states.

an export turnover of about Rs 150 crore this fiscal.
This represents a 15 per cent jump in the export sales
of about Rs 130 crore recorded in the year ended March
31, 2002.
