Supreme Court quashes PMs cancellation
New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Friday quashed
the governments circular of August 9, 2002 cancelling
all allotments of petrol pumps, kerosene and LPG dealerships
after January 2000.

Panel for allowing oil PSUs to bid for HPCL, BPCL
New Delhi: A Parliametary committee on Friday asked
the government to reconsider its decision to divest in
oil public sector units, HPCL and BPCL, or else allow
Indian companies including PSUs like ONGC to bid for the
two corporations.

Report to top board of trade agenda, meet on Dec 27
New Delhi: The Kelkar report on phasing out the

Act of 1961 and the duty entitlement passbook scheme is
expected to figure prominently during the interface between

has welcomed a recommendation by the Department of Industrial
Policy and Promotion to set up an industrial investment
facilitation board as a Central agency to facilitate all
