SEBI allows 500 more cos to file documents electronically
Mumbai: Billed as a Christmas gift for corporate India, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has come up with the names of 500 more listed companies that would have to electronically file certain documents and statements under the capital market regulator's Electronic Data Information Filing and Retrieval (EDIFAR) System.

Demutualised stock exchanges - Broker-members' voting rights may be capped
New Delhi: The Finance Ministry and the Securities and Exchange Board of India will shortly work out a proposal to cap the voting rights of stockbroker members in the demutualised stock exchanges.
