Yamaha Pref Shares Set For A Roll-over
Yamaha Motor India has sought roll-over of redemption of preference shares due to its financial situation.

The company’s 7.75 per cent non-cumulative preference shares of Rs 100 face value are due for redemption between December 31, 2002 and April 24, 2003.

Eicher promoters plan open offer to up stake by 20%
New Delhi: Eicher Goodearth Ltd and Eicher International Ltd, the major stakeholders in Eicher Ltd, are planning to go in for an open offer to up the promoters' stake in Eicher Ltd by 20 per cent. Currently, the promoters' stake in the company is about 60.79 per cent.

Gelli, KP Firms Barred From Trading In GTB
Mumbai: In a major follow-up to the report of the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC), the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) has debarred the promoters of Global Trust Bank (GTB), Ramesh Gelli and his associates, and Ketan Parekh (KP) entities from dealing in GTB stock in any manner, for alleged manipulations in bank’s shares, till the regulator completes investigations in the case.

Tata Honeywell volumes soar
Kolkata: The relatively calm Tata Honeywell Ltd counter logged record volumes on the NSE today. The traded quantity jumped to 1.37 lakh shares on the bourse from yesterday's figure of just 29,320 shares. The two-month average daily volumes of the stock on the NSE on Monday stood at 2,991 shares only.
