IASB
hopeful of nod for proposal on stock options
New Delhi: The
International Accounting Standards Board is determined
to see through its controversial proposal relating to
expensing of employees stock options granted by companies,
its Chairman, Mr David Tweedie, has said.
"I
can't see the proposal being lost even though there has
been a lot of opposition. Some of the Americans are against
the proposal even though Enron has made it embarrassing
for them to oppose it," Mr Tweedie said.
