to new estimates published on Sunday.

Bush
proposes raises based on performance for workers
Washington: President George W Bush will propose
a sweeping change in government-wide pay policies, calling
for creation of a $500-million fund to provide raises
to federal workers based on their performance while increasing
the highest possible pay to $154,700, officials said.

Swiss
planning more fleet, job cuts
Swiss International Air Lines, the state-sponsored flag
