profit doubles in '02
Frankfurt: German sportswear Puma said on Friday
its profits more than doubled in '02, extending a dynamic
recent growth record as its brand finds favour with a
fashion-conscious market.

Film Q3 net up just 2 per cent
Tokyo: Fuji Photo Film, the world's second-largest
maker of photographic film, said on Friday that its net
profit rose 2.3 per cent in the latest quarter, buoyed
by brisk digital camera sales despite pressure from a
weak economy.

earnings boosted by parks rebound
Los Angeles: Walt Disney Co. posted quarterly earnings
on Thursday that showed an unexpected boost from last-minute
theme park travel, but net profit fell in the face of
high costs to broadcast sports like the Super Bowl and
the box office failure of animated feature "Treasure
Planet."
