WTO sets Feb 12 as deadline for agreement on health issue

The Trade Related Intellectual Property Rights Council at the World Trade Organisation has fixed February 12 as the extended deadline for reaching an agreement on the pending TRIPs and Public Health issue.

Bio-fuel can cost exchequer Rs 768 crore a year
New Delhi:
The utilisation of bio-fuels in petrol and diesel vehicles in the country could cost the exchequer as much as Rs 768 crore per annum. Despite the high costs, experts contend that environmental benefit to society could be much larger.
