nominee to head the market-regulating US Securities and
Exchange Commission, was expected to face questions at
a Senate hearing on Wednesday about his record as New
York Stock Exchange chairman and as chief of a large health
insurer.

1,000 technology and back office jobs in the first quarter
of this year in a move to cut costs in the face of tough

New York: Internet media company Yahoo Inc. has
expanded its relationship with paid search listings company
Overture Services Inc., a move that could increase Overture's
revenue by as much as 9 per cent, brokerage US Bancorp
Piper Jaffray said on Tuesday.
