India, 16 others to fight EU, US textile protectionism
New Delhi: India together with 16 other developing countries including China has joined hands to fight the protectionism being practiced by the EU and US in the area of textiles.

Inflation rate zooms to 4.6 per cent
Mumbai: An 11 per cent increase in the price of vegetables pushed the inflation to this fiscal’s highest ever at 4.61 per cent for the week ended Jan 25, as against a mere 1.29 per cent in the year-ago period.
