Paris: Vivendi Universal is still in talks with Texas
oilman, Marvin Davis over selling him its US show business
assets, but has yet to get down to hard negotiations,
sources close to the group said.

Abu Dhabi: UAE-based satellite telecom firm Thuraya,
enjoying a subscription surge on the back of media interest
in the Iraq crisis, on Monday launched a new service which
it said will ease news reporting from remote areas.
