cuts dumping duty on carbon steel plates
New Delhi: In a major relief to steel makers, the
US has slashed the anti-dumping duty on cut-to-length
carbon steel plate from 72.49 per cent to 42.39 per cent
following a World Trade Organisation panel ruling.

for consensus on non-tariff barriers extended till March

New Delhi: Unable to reach a consensus on the modalities
for negotiations on tariffs and non-tariff barriers for
industrial products, the World Trade Organisation extended
the deadline for submission of fresh proposals by members
to March 14.
