community. With the Reserve Bank of India freeing foreign
exchange inflows and striding towards full convertibility
of the rupee, present estimates place official foreign
exchange inflows into India at $15 billion.

to restructure sales tax directorates
Kolkata: The West Bengal government has decided to
thoroughly restructure its sales tax directorates according
to the requirements of the value added tax system that
will be introduced in all states from April 1 this year.
