are stepping up exports of gasoline, diesel and jet fuel,
realising bumper margins, as the US and Iraq head towards
war. Exports from India are booming, even as traditional

traders said.

makes gas supply offer to all IPPs
Mumbai: The sources said the RIL proposal would
cut power tariffs up to Rs 3 a unit, inclusive of both
variable and fixed costs if the three operating IPPs switched
over to gas. Currently, all these IPPs, equivalent to
about 350 mw, are all naphtha-based wit h a tariff of
up to Rs 5 per unit.

plan to jointly bid for the $3-billion Dabhol gas and
power project in Maharashtra. TPC, India's largest private

that it has entered an agreement with BP Global Investments
