Beyond Trent: Noel Tata's on Voltas board
Mumbai: Noel Tata, managing director of retailer Trent, has recently been inducted on to the board of Tata group company, Voltas. This is the first time Tata is being given additional responsibility in the Tata Group, beyond his role in Trent.

Irda chief seeks early decision on successor
New Delhi: In a bid to prevent unhealthy speculation about the appointment of his successor, the chairman of Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority, N Rangachary, has written to the ministry of finance to choose a new chairman early.
