(SEBI) has directed the management of Kalpataru Agro India
Ltd, to refund the money collected from the public in
a month's time or face the consequence of severe penal
proceedings.

the continuation of the Japanese partnership with the
Hero Group. LIC and Birla Mutual Funds reportedly picked

Mumbai: The counter of HDFC Bank saw sharp rise in
trading volumes on the BSE with several block deals witnessed
on Thursday. Dealers said these deals were done in various
tranches. The deals were of around 8 lakh shares.

Canara
Bank sees buying interest
Mumbai: Canara Bank stock on Thursday moved up on
buying interest, mainly from operators and traders, according
to brokers. The stock opened on the Bombay Stock Exchange
at Wednesday's closing of Rs 61.55, rose to the intra-day
high of Rs 63.60 and settled at Rs 62.85 at close. The
stock has gained around Rs 3 or 5 per cent this week.
The 52-week high of the stock is Rs 73.
