HDFC Mutual acquires Zurich asset company
Mumbai: HDFC Mutual Fund, a joint venture of HDFC and Standard Life, UK, has announced acquisition of Zurich Asset Management Company in India. An agreement has been signed between the two parties in London, according to a statement issued by HDFC MF.

Year-end wariness keeps yields in tight range
Mumbai: Bonds remained flat during last week in lacklustre trading in a market gripped with uncertainty over the deteriorating Iraq situation. The ten-year yield to maturity (YTM) as a result remained almost steady at 6.33 per cent, up from the previous week's 6.32 per cent. Traders attributed the lack of movement in the yields to poor trading volumes.
