Kolkata: Ceat Ltd, an RPG Group company, is undertaking
a business restructuring exercise in order to become a
focused tyre manufacturer. As part of the plan, the rubber
division of Harrison Malayalam, another RPG Group entity,
will be demerged from HML and merged with Ceat.

revival plan likely for HPF
Coimbatore: The Government is contemplating another
revival package for the ailing Hindustan Photo Films (HPF)
at Udhagamandalam. The post-mortem decision has come after
the Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction
(BIFR)notified winding up of its operations and freezing
of its bank accounts on January 30. The company, however,
managed to obtain a stay against the order on freezing
of its bank accounts last month
