tech sector pares 5.6 lakh jobs in two years
New York: The US technology sector, which has been

study released by an industry trade group.

Cessna
to cut 1,200 jobs
Boston: Textron on Thursday said Cessna Aircraft would
cut 1,200 jobs - more than 10 per cent of the unit's work
force - and place another 6,000 workers on furlough for
seven weeks as demand for business jets slumps on weak
corporate profits.

says will keep pipeline assets
New York: Bankrupt Enron Corp. said on Wednesday it
plans to take its interest in three pipelines off of the
block and bundle them into a smaller company to help it
raise money to repay creditors owed billions of dollars.

Elec Feb handset sales double
