Rajasthan to put VAT on backburner till elections
New Delhi: After Delhi, UP, Karnataka, Uttaranchal and Punjab, it is now almost certain that implementation of value added tax would be deferred in Rajasthan as well untill after the Assembly elections.

Inflation touches 5.56 per cent
Mumbai: The annual rate of inflation continued to climb upwards and touched a new high for this fiscal at 5.56 per cent for the week ended March 15. The rise as compared to last week was 0.43 per cent but year-on-year the increase was 3.93 per cent
