American Airlines pilots okay $660m wage cuts

The pilots' union at American Airlines on Sunday said it presented the cash-starved carrier with a concession deal worth $660m a year, which will achieve the cost-savings sought by the management.

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has questioned the accounting treatment of some advertising-related deals AOL Time Warner conducted with Bertelsmann AG in 2001, AOL said in a filing with securities regulators on Friday.
