Airlines pilots okay $660m wage cuts
California: The pilots' union at American Airlines
on Sunday said it presented the cash-starved carrier with
a concession deal worth $660m a year, which will achieve
the cost-savings sought by the management.

bank and energy watchdog chief Callum McCarthy is set
to replace Howard Davies as the head of Londons
most powerful financial watchdog, the Financial Services
Authority, the Sunday Telegraph reported. An announcement

says SEC questions Bertelsmann deal accounting
Washington: The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission
has questioned the accounting treatment of some advertising-related
deals AOL Time Warner conducted with Bertelsmann AG in
2001, AOL said in a filing with securities regulators
on Friday.
