Mumbai: The stocks from the technology sector would
see some heightened activity this week in the run-up to
and after the announcement of results by top companies
from the industry. Key software companies such as MphasiS
BFL, Mastek and Infosys Technologies are slated to announce
the quarterly performance for the period ended March 2003.

scores yet another point with T+2
Mumbai: The Centre may not have been able to coax
State Governments to keep their date with VAT, but the
Securities and Exchanges Board of Indian (SEBI) has certainly
managed to push the Indian bourses into the T+2 rolling
settlement system at the start of the new financial year.

liquidity can check volatility, says Sebi report
Mumbai: A research-based study commissioned by the
Sebi has suggested that to check volatility in the derivatives
market, liquidity in this market has to be enhanced. To
achieve this goal, more and more institutional participation
is required.
