clears Insat-3A launch
Bangalore: Prior to the launch of India's multi-purpose
satellite Insat-3A later this week, European space consortium
Arianespace has given the go-ahead following the launch
readiness review held at the spaceport of Kourou in French
Guiana in South America. With this, Ariane-5 rocket's
ready to roll out from the final asssembly building to
the launch zone tomorrow, Arianespace sources said here
today. Lift-off of the Ariane-5 with its dual satellite
payload of Insat-3A and Galaxy XII is set for the evening
of April 8, at around 4.30 am on April 9 in India.
