IndusInd in talks with UAE banks
Mumbai: IndusInd Bank is in talks with some local banks in UAE to expand its presence in the region. The bank is also in talks with a leading exchange company for remittance services, according to Bhaskar Ghose, Managing Director of the bank.

UTI Bank bites into food credit pie
Mumbai: Flush with funds and shrinking margins, more private and foreign banks are showing interest in the traditional RBI-managed food credit programme. At the rate of 11.10 per cent, this 40-year old Government scheme, with no history of default has become an attractive investment avenue for banks in the current falling interest rate regime.

IFC sanctions Rs 60-crore loan to Dewan Housing Finance
New Delhi: International Finance Corp-oration (IFC), which is a private financing arm of the World Bank, has granted a Rs 60-crore long term assistance facility to Dewan Housing Finance Corporation Ltd, to expand the latter’s housing finance operations in the country.
