DGM for Bank of India
Coimbatore: B.G. Kurup, deputy general manager,
Bank of India has taken charge as zonal manager of the
Coimbatore zone of the bank. The Coimbatore zone is among
the 47 zones of the bank. It comprises of 65 fully computerised
branches spread over 18 districts in Tamil Nadu. The zone's
business mix is estimated at Rs 1484 crore.

Nabard
regional office CGM
Thiruvanathapuram: B. S. Shekhawat has taken over
as chief general manager at the regional office of the
National Board for Agriculture and Rural Development (Nabard)
here. Hailing from Rajasthan, Shekhawat started his career
with the Reserve Bank in Bangalore in 1978. He has served
Nabard in various capacities in Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan,
Jammu and Kashmir, Gujarat and the Nabard Head Office
in Mumbai, a spokesman said here. Shekhawat has been closely
associated with watershed development and cooperative
banking in different States.
