Addl director on Aurobindo board
Hyderabad: Aurobindo Pharma Ltd, the Hyderabad-based pharmaceutical major, has informed the stock exchanges on Friday that its board of directors has approved the appointment of Dr K.A. Balasubramanian as an additional director on the board. Dr Balasubramanian would be an independent non-executive director. At present, the company's board of directors comprises nine directors.

New ED for RBI
Muumbai: Shyamala Gopinath has taken over as an executive director of the Reserve Bank of India. She would look after the Department of Banking Operations and Development, Department of Banking Supervision and Financial Institutions Division, said an RBI press release. Prior to this, Gopinath was on two-year deputation with the International Monetary Fund, the release said.
