O&M’s Ranjan Kapur to step down in January 2004
Mumbai: Ogilvy & Mather India executive chairman Ranjan Kapur will retire in January 2004 after 38 years with Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide and 10 years at the helm of Ogilvy & Mather India. Piyush Pandey, O&M India’s group president and creative partner, will take over this leadership role, whilst retaining his creative position. John Goodman, who is currently the president of OgilvyOne Asia Pacific, will take on the role of CEO for the Ogilvy Group in India. Goodman will move to Mumbai in October and officially assume his new role in January 2004.
