New chiefs in Hindalco, Indo Gulf from October
Mumbai: Hindalco Industries and Info Gulf Fertilisers, Aditya Birla group companies, will have new captains from October 2003. A K Agarwala, whole-time director, Hindalco Industries, will step down to be replaced by Debu Bhattacharya, managing director, Indo Gulf Fertilisers. Bhattacharya will take over from October. At Indo Gulf Fertilizers, Bhattacharya's position will be filled in by Rakesh Jain from the first week of October 2003. A meeting of the board of directors is being convened to consider the change. Agarwala will continue on the board of the company as ordinary director.
