CSE members role in stock scam
Kolkata: With the market regulator suspending Pramod Kumar Drolia and Co, member of the Calcutta Stock Exchange, on several grounds, the theory that a section of Lyons Range operatives played a key role in the last securities scam has become stronger. The suspension order has also brought back memories of the K-10 phenomenon, which had not very long ago assumed almost larger-than-life proportions.

Punjab Tractors sees hectic activity
New Delhi: It was a day of hectic activity for the Punjab Tractors scrip. The action followed after an announcement on the Bombay Stock Exchange web site that CDC Capital Partners, the successful bidders for the Punjab Government's 23.5 per cent stake in Punjab Tractors, was planning to come out with an open offer for acquiring an additional 20 per cent stake in the company at the price of Rs 203.
