Infosys opts for green shoe option in ADS offer
Bangalore: Infosys Technologies Ltd has informed the BSE that underwriters to the sponsored secondary ADR offering have exercised the green shoe option to purchase up to 7,82,000 additional ADS, representing 3,91,000 equity shares.

Accordingly, the total sponsored secondary ADR offering would rest at 60,00,000 American Depository Shares (ADS), representing 30,00,000 equity shares and the total size of offering is $294 million.

Tata Motors issues convertible notes
Mumbai: Tata Motors has written to the BSE that the company has issued one per cent convertible notes due in 2008 convertible into ordinary shares or global depository shares aggregating $100 million (including over-allotment of $10 million in the international market).

SEBI for rights issue in demat form
Mumbai: The Securities and Exchange Board of India has proposed rights issue of the companies in electronic form and also proposed listing such issues on the stock exchanges for a limited period. Sebi has proposed a series of such changes by floating a discussion paper on 'Innovations in the securities market' in areas where the developments/announcements by the companies lead to excessive volatility in the stock prices on the SEs.
