B M Munjal leaves Omax Autos board
New Delhi: Hero Honda chairman Brijmohan Lall Munjal has stepped down from the chairmanship of Rs 427-crore Omax Autos Ltd. The company supplies auto components to auto majors that include Hero Honda, Maruti, TVS Suzuki, Escorts and Honda Siel.

"I have stepped down from the Omax board as well as its chairmanship as I am gradually giving up my responsibilities to the younger generation. The company’s board has been working efficiently and professionally and it will continue to do so in the future too," Munjal was quoted as saying. He will, however, continue to hold the office of chairman of Hero Honda. Hero Honda is one of the largest customers of Omax. It supplies 60-65 per cent of its total production to Hero Honda.
