COO Nikhil Sen is 'manager' of Britannia
Kolkata: Britannia Industries has appointed Nikhil Sen, chief operating officer Britannia at present as the "manager" of the company.

Company officials said, "manager" of a company is someone who has the powers of a managing director but is not on the board of directors.

Sen assumes the role of manager of the company with immediate effect as per section 387 of the Companies Act 1956.

Earlier on the sidelines of the company's annual general meeting, Nusli Wadia chairman Britannia Industries said, the board would decide about on the succession of Alagh but, did not give a timeframe.

New top-level appointments in Indo Rama Text
Mumbai: Indo Rama Textiles Ltd has strengthened its senior management team through recent high profile appointments.

The company appointed Mr Ravindra S. Singhvi as Chief of Operations, who will be based at Butibori, Nagpur, and oversee the Butibori and Pithampur facilities. Mr Mukesh Saxena was appointed Assistant Vice-President and will head operations at the Pithampur facility.
