launches 400 mn euro convertible bond
Frankfurt: Adidas-Salomon said on Wednesday it
was launching a 400-million euro ($435 million) bond convertible
into around four million of its shares to help improve
its debt situation and financing terms.

San Fransisco: Business software maker Computer
Associates International on Monday said it agreed to settle
all outstanding litigation related to claims about its
past accounting issues, and would take a related charge
of about 17 cents per diluted share in its current quarter.
