RPG
Life Sciences CEO to join Lupin
Mumbai: RPG Life Sciences president and CEO Kamal
K Sharma has quit to join the Desh Bandhu Gupta-controlled
Lupin Ltd as its managing director. Sharma, 55, will join
Lupin from 29 September. His appointment for a five-year
term was ratified by Lupin's board at its last meeting.
The move is a homecoming for Sharma, who was earlier the
managing director of Lupin Chemicals, which was later
merged with Lupin.
Sharma
will be succeeded by Murli Ramachandran, president, business
improvement, strategy and IT of the RPG group. Ramachandran
will also be on the group's management board, which oversees
group-wide decisions.
