Intrusion detection tech sales seen climbing - study
San Francisco:Revenue from sales of technology used to detect and prevent break-ins of computers and networks will soar in coming years as electronic security concerns rise and the technology improves, a report on Wednesday said.

After falling to $104 million in the second quarter from $105.2 million in the previous quarter, revenue from sales of hardware and software used for intrusion detection and prevention will rise 43 percent to $149 million in the second quarter of next year, according to Infonetics Research.
