Bisleri restarts production

Wockhardt's formulation exports to cross Rs 400-crores
Mumbai: Wockhardt Ltd expects its formulations exports to the US to exceed Rs 400 crore ($87.4 million) in the next two to three years. Its formulations exports to the US in the past year ended December 2002 was about Rs 23 crore.

Radio City moves court for licence protection
New Delhi: Radio City has sought court protection against the Government's move to cancel the licence for violating the FM radio norms.

The Ispat group-owned Music Broadcast Private Ltd (MBPL), which holds the Radio City licence, has approached the Bombay High Court seeking a stay to prevent the Government from cancelling the licence.

Sathavahana to split revamp into 3 phases
Hyderabad: Satavahana Ispat Ltd, the Hyderabad-based Rs 84-crore pig iron manufacturer, has decided to split the implementation of its modernisation and expansion programme into three phases owing to paucity of funds.

The company has also decided to keep in abeyance the project for manufacture of metallurgical coke with co-generation of power, with the financial institutions insisting for power purchase agreement with the power transmission utility.

Altair draws up expansion plan
